Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit. My Mommy and Auntie do this every month. Someday I might understand this ritual! Today was a long day for my Mommy. She had this thing called parent-teacher conferences. I don’t understand why I can go, since she is now a parent? I thought I could go with and hang out…but that was not to be. Instead, I played with my Daddy at home and waited and waited and waited for my Mommy to come back.
I decided to wake up at 2:30 and have Mommy feed me. This was just a big plot so that she and I could have some special alone time. It was nice, and then we both went right back to sleep. I didn’t wake up until around 6:15 and then my Daddy had to feed me, while Mommy got ready for that palce called work. Mommy and Grandma CC and I all had breakfast together, and I played with Grandma CC at her house. She has all the cool toys, and I found another new friend. I have a game that I play with him called punch Rugby the Dog in the nose. I like it, not sure how he feels about it though.
Later in the morning, I went back to Grandma CC’s office and played consultant. Acutally, I was wore out from all my early morning excitement, so I just slept until my Mommy came to get me. Then Mommy, Daddy, and I went to Big Star. That was cool. Mommy’s work friends were there (Ryan, Stephen and a new guy named Adam) Ryan got in the car and played with me in the backseat while my Mommy and Daddy ate. Ryan is a lot of fun, and Mommy says that he is a Cubs fan too! Go Cubbies!
Off to bed for me, it is getting late

Please don’t let these people fool you. The Cubs are never destined to be anything but cellar dwellers. You should root for a real team, the Padres. Plus, their home field is in San Diego, near the panda bears.. Go Padres!!!!!!
Go CUBBIES!!!! You mommie is looking for tickets for us… she says you are going to be a bit to young to go so we will just have to get you a ton of things to wear!!!!
Love you,
Auntie Sparky
Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit! Wow .. you went to big star?! I am so envious. I hope that you are having a great weekend. Oh also happy 8 week birthday. I miss you and I will see you in 18 days. Hugs and forehead kisses.
Love,
Auntie Sparky
Happy 8 weeks ……It is impossible to think of life before you. I have 23 new patients this week and I will be consulting you a lot. I have to be gone one Friday in March to the Chicago meeting and maybe the Thursday too. Ugh How will I tell your mom. She will freak. Wonder if your other grandmother can come a day or two. It is the Midwest podiatry meeting and I have to be there Thursday through sat until about 10 at night and then I beat it home. I have to make arrangements to go to Baltimore too and I am going over the Easter break so as to not disturb the set up. I may have to go Thursday afternoon that day too. I worry I could be fired and that would be awful.I could take you with but your mom does not let you go out over night yet. Maybe when you turn 21. I guess your mom and dad and I need to coordinate the schedule.Don’t worry you will be top priority. Maybe Granny Gayle will come down who knows . Auntie Heather is coming soon and she will be so surprised to see you so grown up already.Sure enjoyed out time together today. Grandma CC
Hi Xander,
So I don’t see any of my comments posted on your blog… and you have not posted in a while.. are your parents neglecting you? I get to see you so very soon.. I am very excited about it!!!!!! Okay hope you’re having a great day!
Love,
Auntie Heather
Don,
The Cubs will win sometime (maybe next year will one year come this year) and then everyone will be happy. Alex likes the Cubs because he likes the colors red and blue and also he likes the Cubbie Bear. I know the Panda’s are in San Diego and we can just take a trip to visit them. He doesn’t have to be a Padre fan to go see the Panda’s in the Zoo! The Melissa’s are right…the Cubs rock and will (some year) have a great season. Maybe this is their year! Every team should win once a century!
