Hello again,

This evening, I went out to diner with my Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma but I also met some new people. One of my Mommy’s grandma’s oldest friends (that would be my Great-Grandma Evelyn) Ceil and her daughter Kathy came with us to dinner. My Mommy got me all dressed up in an outfit. I had pants on and eveything…and my outfit didn’t have hands or feet covers! Mommy did put socks on me, and there was a silly hat that matched the outfit that she made me wear. Mommy said that she dressed my up, because when her grandma would go out, she would always look her best. So Mommy thought that it was a nice gestrue to do the same to me! I had fun meeting Ceil and Kathy and hearing stories about my Grandma CC and my Great-Grandparents from years ago. Maybe my Mommy or Grandma can tell me them again when I am older so I can remember them!

Other than dinner, I just hung out and played with my Mommy all day. I sure am going to miss this when she has to go back to work…maybe I can go to work with her? I know my Mommy is a great teacher, but many people that don’t understand teaching say “all you do is babysit”. If that is true, then why not go with Mommy? Maybe I could supervise?

There was also a posting on my site from a college girl. My Mommy says that she used to babysit her and her little sister years ago. I am excited to meet Elise. I met Meg and had my picture taken with her at the party that we had for my Autie Heather. Hi Elsie in college..learn lots and then come and visit with me! Bring Meg too…she was nice.

I will write more later…until then

Alex

  1. Alex, I am going to a big Island today to see some sun and remember when my dad talked about Maui and his great times there. I kissed you goodbye yesterday and cried, I do not want to leave you even to go on a vacation so I am understanding about your mom’s hesitation to go back to school.I will be with you and I cannot wait. I will probably have to call your mom every minute to give progress reports but that will be ok. We all want you to grow up and yet not to grow up. What a pleasure you are. Love Grandma CC
