Happy Birthday Grandma CC! How exciting…for me…another grandparent’s birthday! Grandpa Bill’s was in February and now Grandma CC’s is in April! Right now, she is out of town….but Mommy said that she will be here tomorrow night for dinner.. Grandma’s favorite Captain Crunch Chicken Fingers! That sounds yummy…I know I will have to wait a few days…but that’s ok!

Today was a lazy Saturday. Mommy, Daddy and I just hung out. We did go to the grocery store to get everything we need for tomorrow’s dinner. I like shopping. I get to see lots of bright lights and lots of people…they tell me how cute I am (I don’t ever tire of hearing that!)

Daddy went to the new house to get the grass cut…but there was a small problem. There was no lawnmower! Mommy and I went to help Daddy load the riding mower from Grandma CC’s house (but it was not strong enough to cut my new HUGE lawn) So Daddy came back home and started researching new riding lawmowers for us. Those look like tons of fun…but Mommy says I can’t play with them for a long time.

Well I am just going to lay around and be lazy…I am learning from Gizmo Cat! Ha! Ha!

I spent the whole morning (and part of the afternoon) at Grandma CC’s house. It was just me, Grandma, and of course Rugby & Natasha. Mommy came to pick me up around 2ish (she left work a little earlier…she usually doesn’t get me until after 3) I am so smart being able to tell time!

I was pretty cranky all day. I am teething, so I just wasn’t happy. All I wanted was to be held and rocked and talked to and have baby Orajal used on my sore gums an some Tylenol too…I don’t think I am asking for too much.

In the evening, after Daddy got home from PT (for those of you not a consultant to a doctor’s office…that means physical therapy) Mommy and Daddy packed me up and we all went out for a long car ride. It turns out we were to my Auntie Buki’s and Uncle Jeff’s house. That was fun (even though I was still cranky and well miserable) Mommy and Daddy left me (to watch my Aunt and Uncle) because Daddy had a doctor’s appointment that night. By the way, who of you have heard of a doctor’s appointment at 8:30 at night? Neither had the doctor…who wasn’t there! So my parents were back to see me much sooner than everyone thought. I wanted part of the Brewer game with my Uncle Jeff (even though Mommy says my team is the Cubbies) and Uncle Jeff gave me a baseball glove (that is cool) I can’ wait to play with it. He also had just come back from New York and went to M & M World…so I get to be an Orange M & M! How sweet is that! I played on the floor with my Auntie (and Uncle) and I showed them how good I can roll over!

After we left their house, Mommy and Daddy picked up diner from Copp’s and we all went over to Erin’s house! I played with Erin and Mama Jo for a while, and then it was home to bed!

I need to go to bed earlier…or maybe just take more naps! I will have to talk with Gizmo to find out what his secret is!

A sleepy little guy

I have had some late nights this week. I know i have been asleep through a lot of them, but just not in my room until later. Tonight I was in my crib early and that was comfy. But before I went to bed, let me tell you a bit about my day.

Mommy took me to Grandma CC’s in the morning, and she took me to work in the afternoon. Daddy come and got me later, and then Mommy came home from work and played with me. That is really all I did. It was fairly routine. Nothing too exciting…but I still had fun with the office crew, and Mommy and Daddy, and of course Grandma CC. Ohh wait, I almost forogt. My Grandma and Grandpa Thomas stopped by to visit me. Grandpa Bill had to get his dressing changed (from his wrist surgery) by Grandma CC and then they came to the house to see me. That was fun.

As you know, I went to bed early, so I am asleep now. Talk to everyone later

Wednesday…this means that I was with Daddy ALL day! When Mommy left for work, I was still sleeping…well sort of. I had Daddy take me in to the bathroom where Mommy was taking a shower so that I could say hi! Then I made him feed me. After I ate, Daddy and I went back to bed! That was fun! The rest of the day (until Mommy came back home) was just the two of us…ok four of us when you include Panda Cat and Gizmo Cat (although I still don’t see much of him…I wonder why?)

So Mommy came home (later than usual…she had a meeting after school) and we played for a little while waiting for Grandma CC to come and pick us up for the Parade meeting. We had diner at Big Star and then we were off to the meeting. I went all dressed up in red, white, and blue…but not for the reasons you may think. I wasn’t being patriotic…I was being a little Cubbie Bear Fan! Ha Ha Ha!

I fell asleep in the meeting, and the Grandma CC and Daddy wanted to see what was going on at my new house. I slept through that great adventure, and then it was home for me. I got changed into my pj’s, ate a little more, and then off to sleep for me!

Well I suppose it is official now, I sleep in my new bedroom and crib and I like it lots (most of the time) Sometimes I want to be with Mommy and Daddy (I suppose) but all I have to do is make noises and the come running….Mommy faster than Daddy (unless Mommy makes Daddy come instead)

Today I slept so late, that Daddy had tot take me to Grandma CC’s. Mommy picked me up from the “new” office instead of Daddy. Daddy was at work where people are moving stuff and he had to make sure that everything still worked ok. They are building a new office just for my Daddy! I can’t wait to see that!

It seems that Mommy and I were only home for a few moments, before we were back at the office. Uncle Jimmy and Daddy were moving computers and setting them up for Grandma CC. So I got to play with Mommy, Grandma CC, and then Brenna showed back up (and she had Emma with her too). I was out “working” until after 10pm…I think I should file for overtime! Of course I fell asleep at 8:30…but I don’t think that should matter!

It was an event filled day again, and I am very very tired

When I woke up this morning, Daddy was gone again! What happened? Mommy was rushing like a maniac to get everything together and we didn’t end up at Grandma CC’s house until after 7. Mommy quickly ran out the door after leaving me with Grandma and was off to work . I found out later that Daddy had to leave real early in the moring to drive Grandpa Bill to surgery. Uncle Don Human and Grandma Niki went along too.

Mommy picked me up from Grandma’s office, and we went home. A little while after we got home, Daddy came back with Uncle Don and Grandma and Grandpa Thomas. I hung out with them for a bit, showed them all how good I can roll over, and then they had to go home. Grandpa Bill had to rest.

The rest of the evening, I just played with Mommy, Daddy and Panda Cat…Gizmo Cat still hides and runs away from me lots.

So I made it…sort of. Mommy and Daddy kept checking on me in my crib in my room all night long. They also kept rolling me back over onto my back..I am really living up to my nickname squirmy again! Around 2 am, Daddy rolled me over, and I woke up and was scared. Mommy fed me, and I went back to sleep and didn’t wake up again until 8:30! I decided to let my parents sleep in since I had them up so much! Isn’t hat nice of me?

The rest of the day, Mommy, Daddy, and I just hung out and had fun together. It was nice and I had tons of fun (as usual!)

So for the first monring in a long time I woke up to both of my parents. however, when Mommy got me out of bed, she found me on my tummy (I had rolled over!) and she wasn’t too happy about it. She said “that’s it Alex…you will be sleeping in your crib from now on”. Actually, she told my Daddy that the morning before on the phone that it might be time for me to sleep in my crib (in my own bedroom) and Daddy was concerned. He wanted to know what happened to Mommy! You see in Mommy’s great big plan, I wasn’t going to move into my own room until she was on summer break…well I guess I have changed the plan!

Daddy went to the new house to do some work, and Mommy and I played together. We check on Grnny Gayle to see how she was doing, and brought lunch out ot the office. We also went shpping at Target for more of the bigger nipples for me! The office is being moved. I am getting more room and space to play. This she should be interesting!

Well I am going to go sleep in my own room…wish me luck

Mommy was late for work today. It was all my fault, and I am sorry about it. Again, we were on our own (Daddy was at Platteville for work still) and I didn’t want to eat this morning. Mommy wasn’t even able to put me in clothes. I went to Grandma CC’s in my pj’s! Ohh well, Mommy packed clothes for me to wear for the day, and Grandma CC had to change me into them…after she got me to finsih eating my morning bottle (that had my new medicine in it…maybe that is why I didn’t want to eat it?) Anyways, I got to hang out at the house in the morning with Granny Gayle and the Vickster. Then in the afternoon, it was off to the office until Mommy came to get me. Mommy picked me up in teh afternoon, and then it was home for me…but only for a little while. Ganny Gayle, Mommy, Uncle Jimmy, Grandma CC, a doctor friend of Grandma CC, me, and a surprise…my Daddy all went out for diner. I got hungry, but there was a small problem…Mommy had made a bottle for me, but she forgot it on the counter in the kitchen. She had brought the extra food jug, just no bottle! So she quickly went to Target and got me a new bottle with a new sized nipple (that I liked a lot better than the old ones), It is a bigger size for me! Yeah…I am growing!

Well, diaster was avoided, and we all had diner (including me) and that was it.

Off to bed for me…with both of my parents!

P.S. My Mommy says that it would have been my Great Grandma Enola’s birthday. She was Great Grandpa Boomer’s wife and died when my Mommy was in high school. Mommy says she was lots of fun and I would have liked her lots. I am sorry I didn’t get to meet her.

He’s back! Or so I thought. I woke up this morning, and both my Mommy and Daddy were home here with me! Yeah. It was great in the morning…I guess neither one of them had to go to work! 😉 Well I knew my day was going to well, I should have known that there would be some major events going on. Mommy and Daddy took me to see my doctor, Dr. Amy today. It was a check up on my skin/allergies. Since nothing came out of the blood test that the evil vampires ran on me, I was going to go see a specialist.

Daddy went to work, and Mommy and I went home .We were waiting to see my Grandpa and Grandma Thomas (have lunch with them) . Grandpa Blll had another appointment at my office (ok my Grandma CC’s office). Anyways, to make a long day a little shorter, Mommy couldn’t get me in with the specialist that Dr. Amy recommender until JUNE! Grandma CC said that that as unacceptable and ridiculous (personally, Mommy was worried that I wouldn’t have any skin left from all the scratching I was doing) so Grandma CC worked her magic and I had an appointment with an allergist that afternoon!

Mommy, Daddy, and I all had lunch together at the Olive Garden in Racine, and then I had to go off to my appointment. Daddy said he had to leave and go to Platteville. He just got home and now he has to leave again. I don’t think Panda Cat is going to like this too much.

So Mommy and I spent over3 hours at hte allergists. Grandma CC came in to see how things were going. Sh was coming back from Milwaukee with Granny Gayle. Granny Gayle was sore she had shoulder surgery done (again) and was in the car waiting. Again, in the interest of speeding up things, the doctor was very nice, and they ran a special test on me (a scratch test). Would you lile to take a guess at what I am allergic to? NOTHING! Yeah for me…they said I just havevsensitive skin and that the take some medicine in my bottle and have Mommy put some special lotion on ym twice a day for a while and I should get all better.

I am so happy that my Mommy didn’t have to work today. that she was able to play with me all day and stay with me. I miss Daddy again (it is just Mommy, Panda Cat, Gizmo Cat, and me again)

In the evening before bed, I was hanging out o my solar system blanket upstairs and playing wit Mommy. Guess what I did? I rolled over. From my back to my front! I was so proud of myself. I had been trying to do if for a few days now, and I finally figured it out! Hurray for me! Mommy was confused at first. She wasn’t sure if she had left me on my back or my tummy. she was giving the kitties food, and I rolled over. She was sitting right next to me! To see if I could really do it, Mommy rolled me back over onto my back, and I did it again, and again, and again for a grand total of 5 times! Mommy was so excited that she called Daddy, Grandma CC, Auntie Sparky, and Grandpa and Grandma Thomas. Wow how cool am I!

Off to bed for me, I had a busy day
