Happy Birthday Day to me! I am 3 months old today. Yeah. That means more pictures. Daddy took them of me in my Bumbo and if I do say so myself, I am one cute little guy! You can view them by looking at my photo album under the 3 months choice.

Daddy took a vacation day so we hung out together all day. It was actually fun (when he doesn’t ahve to work and can pay all his attention to me..like it should be). Mommy came home after work, and she told me that it is now “spring break” and we have 10 entire days together. I am sooooooo very very very EXCITED!

Grandma CC left for a place called Baltimore today, so I won’t be seeing her for a while. I will miss her, but I have my Mommy all to myself for a long time (Ok so Daddy is here, and Panda Cat, and Gizmo Cat…but I think I can arranged it so that Mommy spends more time with me than any of them)

Today is Wednesday, and you should all know that what that means….Mommy leaves me home alone with my Daddy. Today was a good day…I decided to me good for a change and let Daddy work and I spent a lot of time sleeping! I was so cute on my Alex cam when Mommy was watching me. I am irresistible…at least that I was my Mommy says.

In the evening, Mommy ,Daddy, Grandma CC and I all went to the parade meeting. Mommy dressed me up as a bunny! She called Antie Sparky and told her how cute I was and then she made Daddy take pictures of me. You can see me as a bunny on my photo site…I am the cute one with the long ears (in case you can’t figure it out!).I didn’t play “thunderpants” this time, but I still had lots of fun sitting with Mommy (and then Grandma CC when she showed up). Everyone thinks I am cute and they keep saying that I am a good baby….unless you leave me alone with my Daddy!

After the parade meeting, Mommy, Daddy, Grandma CC, Tom, Mona, and I all went to IHOP. It was soooooo cold there…they didn’t have any heat…but I managed just fine looking cute and having fun.

That was my day, not too busy and I had plenty of “nap” time as well as eating time and well you know how my ESP day’s go!

Today is Election Day! Mommy says taht in a democracy your job is to vote, so I went with Mommy and Daddy to go vote. Daddy says that it is good to practice “Chicago Style Politics…vote early and vote often”! Well I am little, so I guess that covers the early part!

I spent the morning with Grandma CC again, and the Mommy picked me up from the office. I am a little disappointed that my scrubs haven’t come it, but I will just have to wait…not so good with waiting though.

Daddy met Mommy and I at my doctor’s office, and there i got some bad news. I didn’t get a shot, but I have to have a blood test to see it I am allergic to some things like cows milk and such. Daddy doesn’t think I am allergic to cow’s milk and Grandma CC just thinks I am teething…Mommy just wants to me be perfect and ok,,, but we will just have to wait and see what happens. (I haven’t had my blood tested yet…hence mny good mood still. Mommy says she doesn’t want to take my by herself and Daddy needs to come with us)

I had dinner with Uncle Jimmy, Grandma CC, and of course my parent’s. We went Arby’s…Uncle Jimmy’s choice. It was fun. Grandma CC had an Easter treat for me and for Panda Cat and Gizmo Cat. They got kittie cat grass and I got a HUGE bunny balloon. It is really cool to look at, but Mommy says I am way to little to play with it…I don’t mind looking at it though!

Well since I am still little and growing, I need my sleep so off to bed I go

I forgot to tell everyone babbitt babbitt babbitt yesterday, so Mommy said that I could do it today! So there it is. I will have to have her explain this babbitt babbitt babbitt concept tp me again, but it sure seems like a fun thing to do.

Mommy dropped me off at Grandma CC’s this morning, and guess who was there? Karen was still there. I was very excite d to see her again. I had a great morning, hanging out with Grandma CC. Karen, and then Vickie. Later in the morning, Grandma CC took me to the office, and I got to play with Dr Jen, Brenna, Kim, Ashley, and Barb. Those ladies are all so much fun! They like to hold me and play with me and I love to smile at them!

Mommy came to get me after she was done at work. and we just hung out. Mommy (Daddy and Grandma CC) were all worried about an irritation on my belly and back and legs, so I guess we are going to see Dr. Amy tomorrow…I don’t know if I will lik that too much, since the last time we were there she stabbed me with shots. Ohh well, I guess I have to do what Mommy says to do.

In the evening, Mommy left me home alone with Daddy while she had to go get a video for school. I thought she knew better by now, but I guess she hasn’t learned. Daddy let me watch wresting, and that was fun. Mommy said she would be very upset if I tried any of those movies…but Daddy is working on teaching me the “bear hug move” Don’t tell Mommy, I want it to be a surprise!

So guess what I wore today? Since it was opening day for baseball, Mommy dressed me in a Chicago Cubs outfit! It was lots of fun. It had pants and a jacket and went swoosh swoosh whenever I moved! Again I will have my lazy Daddy post a picture of me in it. The only bad news is that the Cubs lost…but there is always next year.

So guess what everybody…I said my first words (actually it was a sentence)….Want to know what they are? “April Fool’s”!!!! Ha Ha Ha Ha. I can’t talk yet…but I can smile lots and make other noises and laugh!

So today, I met Karen. She was real nice and lots of fun. She played with me in the car and fed me too! Mommy, Daddy, Grandma CC, Karen and I all went to look at some houses for Grandma CC (She told me that they were really for me when I get lots older…I will have to find out what that means later I guess) and we had some fun. After we got done with the house searches, we all went out to dinner. Mommy said this place as “the elixir of life”. She told me that it is a special sauce that goes in the fried rice and the meat. I guess I’ll get to taste it in a few days or so. After dinner, Daddy ran to my store (Babies R Us) to get me some more pluggers. To further complete my tormenting of Daddy, I have now decided to only use one specific type of plugger, and when he went to that store last week, they didn’t have any left – so I made him go back. Mommy was smart enough to call ahead nad have them reserve some just for me, because when Daddy went into the store, there were no more on the shelf. My Mommy sure is smart!

So my Auntie Bukie called my Mommy (actually Daddy’s phone but since he was driving, Mommy answered). My Uncle Jeff bought me my first baseball glove! I am excited, and so is Mommy (and of course my Auntie and Uncle) but we aren’t yet sure if I will be left handed or right handed! We’ll just have to wait and see, but Mommy says all good baseball hitters are switch hitters (which means they can hit both from the right side and the left side,..so we will have to work on that skill)

I am excited to see my glove and play with it. All in all I had a great Sunday, and now it is time for me to rest and sleep

I had my Mommy all to myself today. Daddy took something called a train (he said that I will love trains when I get older) to Chicago to help out my Grandma CC with something for work. That was fine with me, because I got to spend all day with Mommy! Mommy and I slept in together, we ate together, we watched some television together and we played together. WE had tons of fun on our tummy, in the swing, on the floor, and then Mommy got out something called the Bumbo. I have my very own special chair. It is just for me! I really really like it. It is soft and comfy and I can see Panda Cat and Gizmo Cat eye to eye. Mommy took a picture of me in it and sent it by phone to my Auntie Sparky…I will make my lazy Daddy post a picture on my website so everyone can see it! Yeah

Daddy came back later in the evening, and he had some exciting news for Mommy. Someone who went to doctor’s school with my Grandma was coming to visit us tomorrow. Mommy said her name is Karen and she was very excited! Can’t wait to meet her and to see Grandma CC again (it has been days)

So my wish came true…Mommy had finals again! Yeah! Mommy left for work early (as usual) but not before she fed me…that is alway nice and then guess what she did…SHE LEFT ME WITH DADDY AGAIN! WHAT IS SHE THINKING? Daddy had to go to physical therapy for his messed up ankle (and if you recall, it wasn’t such a good experience for everyone last time I went with) but he played something he called “let’s make a deal”. He told me that if I was good, he would take me out to lunch at Chili’s with MOMMY! Personally I think that is a form of torture used on me and that is agains the Alex Convention, but I complied and with his unfair policy of good behavior and I was the best little Alex ever and had lunch with Mommy…and her “Bridges Boyz” again! I sat next to Ryan (and across from Stephen…Mommy said that was for my safety) and then the big tall guy Matt was there (He has parenting experience…with two little girls at home…Mommy says that I will meet them sometime in the future). Mommy and Daddy sat at the table across from me with Adam (I haven’t meet him before…he was nice). I decided to sleep through lunch, and that hurt Ryan’s chances of “hookin up” but who knows, maybe my Mommy will let me go out to play with him at a later date!

After lunch, I went home with Daddy and Mommy went back to work…I thought these finals things let her come home earlier? I guess not….I don’t understand these things sometimes.

I had a great evening just hanging out at home with my parents and of course my kitties cats (although if you ask Panda she says I belong to her…I belong to nobody but my Mommy of course)

So Mommy has these things at work called finals (I have no idea what that means) and Grandma CC has gone to Chicago for a conference, and that means I am all alone with my Daddy again! This week justs keeps getting better and better. I was “better” for my Daddy today, but that is only because Mommy came home at noon to take care of me. Daddy had to go see the doctors (he has a sinus infection) so Mommy watched me so that I didn’t have to go with Daddy. I decided since Daddy is “sick” (and not just in the head) that I would be better for him today) Next week, though all bets are off.

Mommy and Daddy decided to go out to dinner at Infusino’s (My Mommy’s favorite and mine too). I met some nice people sitting next to me and they told my Mommy that I am a “very good baby” I just smiled and said inside my head that of course I am for my Mommy…leave me alone with Daddy and watch out!

Since I got to play with Mommy for a long time today, my day was complete. I was very happy today…why can’t these finals be everyday?

So I have learned to something new and fun. I can laugh! I was playing with Mommy (and Daddy too) and we were all on the couch downstairs and I was just laughing and laughing and laughing. Mommy and Daddy thought it was tons of fun…so we’ll see when I decided to do that “trick” again.

So today is Wednesday, and that means I get to “hang” with Daddy all day. I had soooooo much fun tormenting and torturing him today. I wouldn’t let him get any work done! Daddy was talking (complaining if you as me) to Mommy who was at work and she said she could come home for lunch and be with me for a while (so Daddy could maybe do some work) but she had to go back to school for the faculty meeting until 4 ish. When Mommy came home, I was asleep so she didn’t get a chance to play with me…but as she was leaving, I decided to open my eyes and say hi, Mommy saw my “evil Daddy” look and warned Daddy that I was on the terror this afternoon! How right she was! I love tormenting and torturing Daddy. As I mentioned earlier, it is so much fun! So as I was screaming to annoy my Daddy (I wasn’t hungry, and didn’t need changing) Mommy called the house to check in. Daddy put her on speaker phone for me, and I was quiet and good and happy and smiling.

In the evening, Mommy, Daddy, Grandma CC, and I all went out to dinner. I had fun with Grandma CC and it as nice to see the guy at Perkins again. It has been a while for me (He said the last time he saw me I was new…like 2 weeks) Wow that seems like a long time ago for me! As we were leaving, Grandma CC found the “claw” game and won two big stuffed animals for me..a pink puppy dog with really long ears (I thin Panda will love that one) and then a really cool elephant! What fun!

Well, it is Tuesday and today another Grandma CC morning and daddy afternoon. Why does mommy do this to me. Oh well, I guess I will eventually have to deal with daddy taking care of me.

So mom dropped me off with grandma and said that she would be back to pick me up later. Boy did my eyes get big! mommy is going to rescue me and not fatty too fatty mcdaddy. Since I knew was was going to happen, I decided to sleep all morning so that I could play with mommy in the afternoon. When mommy picked me up, she took me to the store to get dinner. It was a fantastic time with mommy, until daddy came home.

Oh well, I guess I will have to teach daddy a lesson tomorrow.
