So I know it has been a few days since I have posted, but I have been playing with my Mommy (and Daddy) and keeping them way to busy. But here I am now, and I will let you all know what’s been going on with me. My Grandma CC and Granny Gayle are still in the land of fun and sun (also known as Hawaii). Grandma CC calls everyday and my Mommy talks to her for me.

Today I didn’t do much. Tuesdays are kinda boring. I stayed home all day and played with Mommy while Daddy was at work. Gizmo Cat is taking more of an interest in me. When I was sitting with Mommy in the big green squishy chair, he jumped up into Mommy’s lap and said hello to me. While he was on Mommy’s lap (and I was in her arms) the chair began to vibrate…that was cool. I like the vibrating swing that my Grandma has at her office. I think I will talk to my parents (especially my cheap Daddy) about investing in a vibrating chair or something for me.

I almost forgot about my new “trick”. Mommy put me down in the pack-n-play downstairs, (I was flat on my back) and when my Daddy went to get me out to take me upstairs to bed…guess what I had done? I had rolled over onto my side! How exciting for me…I am finding out that I can do new and exciting things with my body, my hands, legs, etc. This is pretty cool!

Well I am off

Hey there. It’s me Alex again. Monday is here, and once again Daddy has left me to go to work. That’s fine with me though, I mean I love him and all, but he needs to make money for me. Plus I get the added bonus of having my Mommy all to myself.

Today I played with my Mommy for a long time. I am finding it lots of fun to stay awake for longer and longer time periods. In the afternoon, Mommy’s work friend, Ryan came over to say hi and to give a binder to Mommy. He told me I was cute…I still don’t tire of hearing that!

In the evening, after Daddy came home from work, Mommy and Daddy took me to a place called “the mall”. It was loud and filled with people and lots of lights. I liked the lights. I had fun hanging out with Daddy while Mommy tried on some clothes. She needed some dress work pants. I think that means Mommy is going to go back to work…I don’t think I like the sound of that. I will have to speak to my Mommy about that. She didn’t clear that idea with me.

On the fun side, when Mommy went to get the food at Kopps, I decided to make my Daddy change me. Now that doesn’t sound too bad right? Well I was in the car and made Daddy change me in the backseat. Now that was fun. I totally love tormenting him in new and exciting ways! Who knew it would be this much fun?

Well I am a little guy and little guys need sleep, so I am done for now. Share more thoughts later,

Alex

P.S. Don’t forget…anyone who reads my site can send me a message. I love hearing from my readers!

Hello again. Today is Sunday, and I have both my parents all to myself. Well I guess I have to share with Panda Cat and Gizmo Cat, but I don’t mind too much. I mean they were here first! By the way, Gizmo Cat sleeps more than I do…wow that is a lot of sleeping for one kittie cat.

All I did today was eat, sleep, poop, and make my parents play with me. Oh I did do something new. Mommy put in the Baby Einstein Bach DVD and I kinda watched it. I think Mommy enjoyed it more that I did, but I still had fun with her.

Not much exciting today going on in the world of Alex, but that’s ok, everyday can’t be filled with excitement – that would get boring!

I almost forgot, Grandma CC called from Hawaii. She said that she and Granny Gayle were having a great time, and that the weather is beautiful. It is still cold here…thanks for reminding me!

Gotta go play with my parents now,

Alex

Feb. 10, 2007

So today I stayed at home all day and played with my parents. I got up around 5:30 am and had Mommy feed me. Then I decided that I wanted to be awake and played with, so I wouldn’t let my Mommy or Daddy go back to sleep.

Today Grandpa and Grandma Thomas come over for a short visit. That was nice to see them again. My Mommy talked to Grandma Thomas and she is going to make me t-shirts with hoods on them. My hats keep falling off (or maybe I take them off) and my head gets cold and I don’t like that. So Mommy came up with a potential solution. MY Mommy sure is smart…I am going to have to watch out for that in the future…not sure if I can trick her up when I get older.

Still cold here in Wisconsin. Mommy got a call from Grandma CC and she landed safely in Hawaii. I hope they have fun in the sun, but I will miss seeing Grandma CC. I see her almost everyday and we have tons of fun together. Mommy says that we’ll be able to make it up after she comes back, because Mommy will be back to work, and I get to play  with Grandma CC during the daytime. I guess I will get to be a “consultant” for the office again. Yeah!

Off to bed for me (and my parents…maybe)

Hello all. Life is still cold here in Wisconsin. That’s why my Grandma CC and Granny Gayle were leaving to go to Hawaii. Mommy is jealous. I guess the sun is warm there, and people can spend lots of time outside…but not have to wear alot of clothes!

Mommy and I finally had lunch with Granny Gayle (and Grandma CC) at the Olive Garden. Mommy really likes their salad dressing. Something about a family vinegar deficiency? Maybe when I am older, I will understand that issue.

Later in the evening, I was hanging out at Grandma CC’s house while they were finishing up their packing. I guess they wanted to pack me up too…but Mommy said no. Daddy says that Mommy can be a “fun sponge”. However, I would have missed Mommy and Daddy and Panda Cat and Gizmo Cat too much if I went away with Grandma CC and Granny Gayle.

Well, I am still a little guy and need to sleep (so I can grow…just not too fast says Mommy)

Feb. 8, 2007

Hello again,

This evening, I went out to diner with my Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma but I also met some new people. One of my Mommy’s grandma’s oldest friends (that would be my Great-Grandma Evelyn) Ceil and her daughter Kathy came with us to dinner. My Mommy got me all dressed up in an outfit. I had pants on and eveything…and my outfit didn’t have hands or feet covers! Mommy did put socks on me, and there was a silly hat that matched the outfit that she made me wear. Mommy said that she dressed my up, because when her grandma would go out, she would always look her best. So Mommy thought that it was a nice gestrue to do the same to me! I had fun meeting Ceil and Kathy and hearing stories about my Grandma CC and my Great-Grandparents from years ago. Maybe my Mommy or Grandma can tell me them again when I am older so I can remember them!

Other than dinner, I just hung out and played with my Mommy all day. I sure am going to miss this when she has to go back to work…maybe I can go to work with her? I know my Mommy is a great teacher, but many people that don’t understand teaching say “all you do is babysit”. If that is true, then why not go with Mommy? Maybe I could supervise?

There was also a posting on my site from a college girl. My Mommy says that she used to babysit her and her little sister years ago. I am excited to meet Elise. I met Meg and had my picture taken with her at the party that we had for my Autie Heather. Hi Elsie in college..learn lots and then come and visit with me! Bring Meg too…she was nice.

I will write more later…until then

Ok so my parent’s have been slacking a bit. Actually, my Mommy has been writing for me, and I have kept her pretty busy. I like to sleep at night (which my Mommy and daddy like too) but then I decided to spend much more time awake during the day…and I want to be played with, fed, changed, rocked, held, and played with some more! My Mommy says that I am doing so good with my “tummy time”. I don’t see how it is that hard to lay on my tummy and hold up my head, but when I do that my Mommy gets so excited and tells me how strong I am getting. I sure do like it when Mommy give me praise and encouragement.

This evening, I went with my Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma CC to the Kenosha Civic Parade Comittee meeting. I don’t know what exactly a parade is yet, but from what I have heard, it sounds like fun! My Daddy wants to share a funny story about the meeting. My grandma was holding me (after she fed me…she sure is nice to me) and I was relaxed and then I farted…loudly. Daddy was so proud of me that we did a high and low 5! I guess that is a good thing. I was so happy that I did it again! I rumbled the table! Grandma and Mommy and everyone else was shocked at the noises that I make! Ha Ha Ha.

Hello all. It has been so cold here in Wisconsin, that I have been indoors for days. However, that’s ok with me! I have my Mommy, and Daddy, and Panda Cat and Gizmo Cat to play with and keep me company. I also have visitors too! Today my own family pharmacist came to visit – Chung Mel! She held me and fed me. She is very nice. She also brought my Mommy food! Mac n Cheese and a rice krispie treat from Noodles…the same “real” first meal Mommy had after I was born (Mommy’s friends Erin and Hollie brought/ smuggled it in to her!)

Well, gotta go keep warm,

Until next time,

Alex

Feb. 5, 2007

Well I am a month old today! Happy 1 month Birthday to me! Mommy and Daddy took lots of pictures of me today. I have pictures of me playing the piano (sitting on Mommy’s lap), hanging out in a violin case with a violin (Mommy can’t wait for me to start my lessons with Grandma CC) and then Daddy wanted one of my heritage…that’s the one with the camera (Japanese roots)

Daddy stayed home with me and Mommy all day today. It was great. I had my pick of parents when I wanted attention, or to be held, or fed, or changed, or to be played with. They are lots of fun.

Daddy finally got off his lazy bum and posted my most recent photos. Enjoy them all!

Feb. 4, 2007

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! So I watched the game with my Mommy, Daddy, Grandma CC and Uncle Jimmy. Actually I slept through most of the game and ate through the rest of it. I didn’t find the game too exciting. I did like the big screen and the bright colors though. And Mommy and Grandma laughed real hard at the mouse commercial. Mommy put me in a Super Bowl outfit. Once again, I think I looked cute! It was blue and had a little football on it.  (In case anyone was wondering what I was wearing yesterday)

So my Daddy has a new nickname for me. He calls me the “Fart-o-Matic 2007”. He smiles and giggles at me when he says it, so it must be a nice name. Although Mommy doesn’t call me that. She calls me “her little man” or “her big boy” or “little peanut” or some other names. I think that her names are nicer than the one my Daddy uses, but I still love them both lots.

Well, I am all wore out from the excitement of the game..ok actually the commercials were better.

Later Gater
