Rockband Rocks!

So my parents are pretty much fired again! In their defense (a bit) I have kept them busy…but that is really no excuse for their laziness. OK Mommy can get a break. since Lauren keeps her pretty busy too…but since Lauren really likes Mommy more than Daddy (who can blame her Mommy rocks and Daddy is well…Daddy) it really isn’t Mommy’s fault that you are not all updated about my antics…it is all Daddy’s fault!

I LOVE ROCKBAND. I play the drums, guitar and sing too! My favorite songs are Yellow Submarine, Twist and Shout, Eye of the Tiger, and Hungry Like the Wolf! I always get a smile out of Mommy and Daddy and Lauren when I play.

I make CC play and Nikki and Bill too…but they aren’t nearly as good as me!

To sum up…Rockband Rocks!

Come vsit me and play sometime…I will show you how good I am!

Love Alex – the rockband addict!

My 3rd Birthday Party

So now that I am three, I had to have a birthday party to celebrate! We were all at the new house and Daddy made chili for everyone. Mommy had a special cake made for me with Bob the Builder on it…that was cool!

Let me tell you all who came to my party – there was Mommy, Daddy and Lauren of course. Then Grandma CC, Gramp Bill, and Grandma Nikki. Auntie Shy Shy, Auntie Buki and Uncle Jeff. Barbara. Vickie, Mommy and Daddy’s friends Mechele Mechele and Justin, Rachie Sue (Shy Shy’s roomie), Uncle Chad, Uncle Jimmy and his friend Amy. Chung Mel also came over too!

I got tons of new stuff. I got more play-doh…which is so cool! CC gave me a trampoline…which is AWESOME! I also got some puzzles, clothes, movies, and other toys.

I forgot to tell everyone that for my birthday, Mommy and Daddy gave me Bolt…what a great movie that is!

I had a great birthday party and had tons of fun with everyone. Thanks for everyone who came to my new house to play with me and eat cake and give me presents!

Love

Alex the 3 year old!

Alex Update

So I visited my doctor today, and any guesses as to how big I am? I am a grand total of 27 pounds! I grew 2 inches since my last check up in August and added 2 pounds too! Mommy says that she adds 2 pounds when she looks at something! I am not sure what she meant by that!

Just wanted ot share with everyone how HUGE I am getting

Happy 3rd Birthday

So I am 3 now! This is pretty cool, although I don’t feel 3. How is 3 supposed to feel? It doesn’t seem that much different than 2!

I woke up this morning and there were presents for me to open from Mommy and Daddy. And I also so the special cake Mommy made me. I wanted a pink cake with pink frosting…and guees what? Mommy made that for me! (Daddy helped too!) It was strawberry aka pink and yummy!

Mommy and Daddy and Lauren got me some pjs (Handy Manny ones) and a slinky…that is pretty neat.  But the best gift was the remote control car. That is cool and I mad it run all through the house! Mommy didn’t really like that too much (and neither did Panda Cat or Gizmo) and I had to take it “outside” but I still had tons of fun with it. I had to make Daddy give it to me…he didn’t want to share my new car with me!

That’s all for today

Alex – the new 3 year old little monster!

Christmas 2009

I love Christmas time. There are lots of lights and a HUGE tree! And Candy Candy (mommy says that they are really called candy canes…but I think she is wrong) and what am I forgetting? Oh yeah presents!

I love Santa. He is great! He knew just what I wanted! And Mommy and Daddy did a great job too! As did Grandma CC and Grandma Nikki and Gramp Bil and Auntie Shy Shy and Auntie Buki and Uncle Jeff and Uncle Don and Auntie Melissa…and all my other friends!

Santa brought me play-doh and tools and the new Handy Manny Motorcycle Adventure movie and book! There were other presents too, but these were my favorite ones!

I also got to spend tons of time with Mommy and Daddy and Lauren too! And of course Panda Cat and Gizmo at home! I didn’t have school to go to and we just hung out together!

To sum up, I love Christmas…and I wish I could have it everyday!

Love Alex…the Christmas Nut!

Nov. 24, 2009

Hello everyone! How are things going? Life is GREAT for me! I have a HUGE new house to play in, and lots of fun with “outside” (except when I fall and hit my head on tile. and have to go to the ER and get my cat scanned)…anyways, I digress, where was I? Ohh yeah how great I have things right now. This just might be the best house ever! I have a great bedroom, it is very blue – Gramp Bill painted it for me, and Mommy, Gramp Bill, Grandma Nikki and I all helped hang up my wallpaper border (it is of trucks, dump tricks, front end loaders, cement trucks, and backhoes). I also have my tent up in it all the time (not just on the weekends when we were at the old house) and my books and some toys that Mommy said were “upstairs” toys (whatever that means…personally, I think my toys are my toys and I can take them wherever I want whenever I want, but that sometimes causes conflict with Mommy and Daddy and then I end up in time out and that is no fun for me) Don’t worry, I think I am wearing them down, and they will eventually come to see things as I do…just wait!

I still go to school 3 days a week, and that is fun – especially when we play outside – with the slides, and sand…Daddy thinks I am trying to secretly smuggle enough sand home to build my own sandbox with all the sand that I have in my shoes…but I am juts having fun! I still go to gymnastics (or ‘nastics) as I call it. I am really good now at front rolls (somersaults) and other rolls, and the bars are much fun too. I do a great front support said my coach and also great headstands. I am really good at the jumping part when we get to the trampoline too! Other than that, I spend my time at home with a variety of people, including Vickie, Grandma CC, Grandma Nikki, Gramp Bill, and of course Mommy, Daddy and my baby sister Lauren. I also get lots of visit from my Auntie Shy Shy, since she lives so close to me now!

Some of my favorite things right now are my Lego’s, my Thomas the Trains are still fun, and I LOVE to play Rockband in the basement with Daddy -Go Yellow Submarine (I play the drums and don’t share or let Daddy use them!) I really like Bob the Builder and Handy Manny is great too – those would be my two favorites. I also really like to play with Daddy’s Tonka trucks that he has “let” me use…but he plays with them too! I also like to play board games (Candyland and Chutes and Ladders) Super Why still rocks and now that Daddy set up my very own computer which is upstairs in his office, I can go to their website and play word games with Super Why and Alpha Pig and the other Super Readers – I have lots of fun with that.

Well that is all that is going on with me…sorry it was so long, but as my parents post so infrequently, I figured it was a good idea to get everything out there now…who knows, maybe they will be more diligent with my posting…doubt it, but anything is possible!

Love

Happy Veteran’s Day!!! Oh and my parents are fired.

Even though the federal govt. does not see it, I am also a veteran. I did battle with Outside and I won!! If you don’t know what that means, last night I was reaching to be picked up by mommy but we missed grabbing each other and I fell straight back and my head cracked against the tile floor. I hit sooo hard that I had to think about crying. I thought I was fine as I went to ‘Nastics and played almost like normal. I came home and mommy asked for the fourth time on what color Panda Cat is. I of course said pink for the forth time. At this point, mommy and daddy load Lauren and I up and off to the ER we went. We get there and had to wait near people who looked like they might have this H1N1 thingy but we were in the opposite area. I get taken back to a room and am told that they need to scan my Cat (a cat scan). To protect Panda Cat, I screamed and yelled so that they were not able to do it. I am sure daddy drugged me because I fell asleep like 30 minutes later and then they snuck me in and scanned my cat. Needless to say, the test came back normal and I was sent home with rest in my future. Mommy says that this will probably the first of many visits to the ER, I don’t know what she means.

Other than my ER visit, mommy and daddy have pretty much cleaned up all of the stuff after the move. It is kinda cool because in setting up his office, daddy was able to setup a new computer for me. It is a Mac. Daddy say boo, but yeah since it will be harder for me to break. He also says Gramp Bill should get one cause he is tired of fixing his.

Mommy and Daddy also picked up a new game for the Wii. I now have the Beatles Rock Band and I am a natural at the drums.

Well, it is time for me to go eat some food and make sure that my mommy coes home since I have been with daddy all since the war injury.

October 15, 2009

Hello all…it is I Super Alex here. OK so I am combining a bit of Elmo (not my favorite anymore…but will still work in a pinch) with my new favorite  Super Why. My Mommy and I found Super Why this summer on PBS and I LOVE IT! It a great show with my favorite character being Alpha Pig. I am giving all of you readers of blog a BIG THUMBS UP!

So let me tell you what is new with me. I know my numbers 1-16 or so…sometimes I get up to 20, but it is a safer bet with 16! I know all my letters and can spell my name. Mommy is helping me learn to write it (since I make her write it over and over and over again) Mommy says I am very smart but could I get just the hang of the potty…I am not sure I like that idea at all.

I have spent lots of time helping Daddy with various projects. If the involve a hammer, or drill, or screwdriver..then I am your helper! I get this from Bob the Builder…another new Alex favorite.

My baby sister is getting bigger, but she isn’t as big as me (although Daddy says she is almost 1/2 my size and thinks that is funny…I don’t though

I still go to school 3 days a week and then (since Mommy has now gone back to work) I will spend one day with Lauren and Grandma CC and the other day with Lauren and Grandma Nikki and Gramp Bill

I have also been helping Mommy in the kitchen. I have made Banana Bread and Chocolate Cake. Mommy says we are a good time…I agree!

Gotta go eat and get ready for gymnastics

September 18, 2009

Hello again everyone. As you can see, my parents are becoming more diligent about keeping up with my posts…it is about time. I have only been after them for some time.

So I don’t think I told all of you this, but my parents have signed me up for a gymnastics class. I go to gymnastics twice a week in the evening (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I go to school – which is a lot more fun for me this year that it was last year. Now in the mornings, I eat my “animal” (Danimal yogurt) and then Mommy makes my lunch and make sure my Thomas backpack has my Dino blankie and Quincy (and a paci) and I say bye bye and out the door I go with Daddy – no tears or big issues like last year. Mommy says I am growing up – but that I will still always be her lil’ monster forever! Isn’t my Mommy sweet?!

I have also been helping Daddy out lots with his home improvement projects. I help him with using a screwdriver and drill and lots of that kinds of stuff. I am getting much better at helping, so I get to do so much more stuff with Daddy -that is really cool and fun.

I love construction trucks and equipment, and make my parents drive past all the construction spots (which since we live in Wisconsin Daddy and Mommy say that there are lots and they are not hard to find – something about there being only two seasons in Wisconsin – winter and construction)

I will make my Daddy post a picture of my new Alex blue room on my site – it is the best room ever!

Night Night all

Alex
