Sunday Sunday Sunday!!! I slept in today…all the way to 6 am before Mommy and I had breakfast together. Then I took a brief nap before decided that I didn’t want to be in bed anymore. I played with both Mommy and Daddy today and had lots of fun. Mommy played piano for me (twinkle twinkle) and I got to play with my jungle gym on the floor. I also spent some time in the swing and of course the usual hanging out on Mom and Dad for extra fun times!

In the afternoon, Grandma CC came over and picked up Mommy, Daddy, and I and we went across town to the “new” house. I am not entirely clear on what is going on, but from what I gather…Mommy, Daddy, Grandma CC, and I are moving in together. That means that Panda Cat and Gizmo Cat are moving in with Rugby and Natasha…I haven’t been around long, but I am fairly certain that this isn’t going to work too well…I can’t wait to see this action unfold.

Mommy says that it will be a while before we move, I don’t care too much as long as I have my Mommy and Daddy and Panda Cat and Gizmo Cat and food, and diapers, and my toys, and clothes, and…well I just want my stuff when I need it and then I am happy! Mainly food and diapers and Mommy…almost everything else is negotiable!

That is my week…I hope you enjoyed hearing about it. I think next week will be lest hectic, so maybe I can keep up with it as the days unfold!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day Everyone! According to my Mommy I am 1/8 Irish. According to my Daddy, everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! Today was a day of travel for me…kinda like last weekend, but more time in my car seat!

First we all went to Erin’s house. I met her mom, and then Hollie and Adam met us there. I met Hollie when I was not even a day old, but this was the first time I met Adam…they are both nice. Mamma Jo is good at holding and playing with me…she is experienced and has an Alex too! (and an Andy) she has two grandson’s!

We all went to the “Village” to eat at Ferchs’ for lunch. Michele and Justin met us all there and we had tons of fun. When Daddy gets off his lazy butt..ok broken back and ankle, I will have him put up the pictures of my trip to the “Village of Greendale”

After lunch, Mommy, Daddy, and I went to visit my Auntie Buki. At her house, I met my cousin’s Aliah and Vedder. For some reason my sister calles them All Evil and Vitler. I don’t know why, they seemed perfectly nice to me. My Uncle Jeff was out with friends, so I didn’t get a chance to see him and show him how big I have gotten or some of my new tricks. I did get to show Auntie Buki how I can stand (sort of) and how good I can hold me head up. She fed me and played with me and we had fun together.

After leaving Auntie Buki’s, Mommy, Daddy, and I went to my store…Babies R Us. (I told you it was a lot of time in my car seat) I finally decided that I had enough of being in my car seat, and had a “mimi meltdown” I didn’t need to be fed or changed, but I was angry. So my Mommy carried me around the store and I was very very happy about that arrangement. I got some new t-shirts (I had outgrown most of my other ones) and some new pluggers..Mommy says that not only is there a sock monster but in our house there is a plugger monster too. I really don’t know what a monster is (Mommy calls me her little monster) but it sounds fun to me.

After finishing shopping, we headed home…but not before I decided I needed food (so Daddy had to get off the freeway so I could be fed) and stopping to visit Grandma CC. I wanted to show her my special St. Patrick’s Day outfit!

Daddy was home from work again today, and Mommy didn’t give him any drugs, so she decided that he was “fit” to take care of me. Mommy got Daddy an appointment with physical therapy and I had to go with since Mommy was still at work. Well I decided to have issues for Daddy. While Daddy was giving his history, I felt ignored, so I decided that I needed to be fed..then changed. Later when they hooked him up to the electrodes, I decided I needed attention. Since I was fed and clean, Daddy gave me his finger to chew on. I like that now…chewing on Daddy’s or Mommy’s finger is much fun…better than most of my toys! So that worked for a while, but then I ran into Brianna and Emma (her daughter) I have seen pictures of Emma, but now I got to meet her in person. She is very nice and cute too! So Daddy still had to get treatment, but he just pawned me off onto Brianna and Emma…which was fine with me! I like them!

In the evening, Daddy and Uncle Jimmy went out to a fish fry and I hung out with Mommy and Grandma CC at Grandma’s house. Grandma put me to sleep, and when I came home, Mommy changed me into my pj’s (a sleep sack) and I didn’t wake up until the next morning (I slept from 8:30 until around 5:30) Mommy says I am a good sleeper…I like keeping Mommy happy…she feeds me and changes me and well is my Mommy!

Daddy stayed home from work today because of his injury. Mommy was up and dressed for work. I was fed and changed and ready to go back to sleep for a while and hang out with Daddy (to take care of him since he can’t take care of himself) Mommy was all set to leave the house, she made sure that Daddy had a phone, the remote for the tv, and water to drink. Earlier she had given him some meds, and I guess they had a weird effect on him, because before I new it, I was in the car on the way to Gradma’s. Mommy kept saying that Daddy would be fine, but he was “out of it right now and needed to be home alone”. Personally, I think Daddy is “out of it” most of the time and I didn’t see any difference, but I guess Mommy did!

Mommy and Daddy came to get me from the office early because Daddy had to go get magnetic. Mommy and I waited and waited and waited in this place appropriately called a waiting room for Daddy to get magnetic. The people at Kenosha Radiology were very nice and told me how cute I was and how good I am. I kn0w both of those statements are true, but I still don’t tire of them!

After Daddy was done getting magnetic (Grandma CC said that it was an MRI test) we all went back to my office to wait for a new doctor to see Daddy. They have decided that Daddy is screwed up (I could have told them that) and that the only way to fix him is to cut him open. What they are going to do is scope his ankle (Grandma CC told me that). Can’t wait for that to happen. Daddy will be on his own…Mommy has to care for me first! Wiat til Daddy finds that out! Don’t worry, I won’t let Mommy forget about Daddy…ok not too much!

It is Wednesday, and you know what that means…I spend the entire day with Daddy. I have warned my Mommy not to leave me unless I am supervised by an adult, but I guess she thinks (wrongly so) that Daddy qualifies. He had the web cam going, so Mommy could watch me and make sure I was ok.

I did get to see Mommy sooner than I thought I would. She and her “Bridges Boys” (the guys she works with) Ryan, Matt, and Stephen, met me and Daddy for lunch at Red Robin. I had fun. It was kinda like a guys night out…except Mommy was with us! I spent lots of time with Ryan (a fellow Cub fan) and he and I hatched a plan to get girls. I don’t think Mommy will go for it, but I might be able to wear her down!

In the evening, Daddy decided to hurt himself. He was getting his lazy butt off the couch, when something went wrong in his leg, or back and he was out for the count. Grandma CC came right over to try and help him, but in the end it took drugs to fix him for the night. Wow it sucks to get old!

Well, it has been a bit since I have posted, but life has been a bit crazy and busy lately. (As you will read if you continue following the posts for the rest of this week)

Today I spent the morning with Grandma CC at the office being a “consultant” again. My scrubs still haven’t arrived. I will have to inquire as to where they are! In the afternoon, my Daddy picked me up…but before he left the office with me, he and my Grandma decided that my fingernails needed to be trimmed. I didn’t agree with them, but they won.

Later in the afternoon, Mommy came home to be with me and a friend of hers come over to visit me. Her name was Michele and she plays the cello. She is very nice, but I wasn’t too nice to he. I was fussy and cranky for no apparent reason, but I did enjoy hanging out with her.

I hate Monday’s. They are just evil. I have this nice weekend with my parents (especially my Mommy) and then she has to go back to some horrible place called work. I get to hang out with my Grandma CC and there are even some days (and afternoons) where I get to play with my Daddy, but it just isn’t the way it used to be. I kinda miss that. Mommy says not to worry that something called Spring Break is coming and that we will be together for more than a week! I am very very excited for this Spring Break.

Anyways, I played consultant again and I always like doing that. Ashley got to hold me at the office, and I had lots of fun with Auntie Barb. I like Kim and Breanna lots too. And of course Mrs Wick is great too! Ok so I like all the ladies of the office lots. I guess you could say I am already a ladies man! Ha Ha. Mommy says I am too young for girls, but Daddy says way to go!

Daddy had to take Panda Cat to go see her doctor today, but don’t worry, she is going to be just fine! I like to play with her and Daddy when we all play together!

What an adventure I had today. I spent a lot of time in the car today, and I enjoyed it! I love my car seat. It is warm, supportive, and comfy…almost like being back inside of Mommy…I just don’t get fed when I want! We went to visit Grandma and Grampa Thomas and Uncle Don Human in Walworth. I had fun there while Daddy set up a computer for them. Grandma, Mommy, and I played on the floor together. I showed Grandma and Grandpa how good I can hold my head up when I am on my tummy. I also “talked” a lot for them too. That was fun. We all left and went to visit my Great Great Uncle Ole. That was fun…I had more pictures taken, and let me tell you it is not that easy to keep looking cute for all my pictures, but I did it!

After hanging out with Great Great Uncle Ole, we all went to have lunch together at the Olive Garden. That was fun. Then Daddy decided to go look at tractors and that was kinda fun. I had a good day with my grandparents and have the pictures to prove it…just go look in my photo gallery.

My Mommy and Daddy are happy that I like car rides. They were talking about taking a trip to go maybe go see Granny Gayle and have fun in this place called “up north”…wherever that is!

Saturday is here. So I think Saturday’s are my most favorite day of the week. I get to spend all day with Mommy (and Daddy) and then I get to do it again the next day too! Had fun all morning and afternoon with my parents and kittie cats! For dinner, Daddy made ravioli and gnocchi (for Mommy). We went to a place called Tenuta’s. Mommy said that going to this place also makes me an official Kenoshan. They had lots of lights and colorful stuff.

For dinner, I invited Grandma CC to come over, and I made her hold me lots. Ok she wanted to hold me, but I just didn’t want to go to sleep. Mommy said I was “over tired” but you know how it is…I don’t want to miss anything! So when Mommy thought I was asleep (fake sleeping again for me) she tried to move me away from Grandma…BIG MISTAKE! Grandma put me back to sleep, and then when I woke up she fed me too! Mommy showed her our “bed time routine” and that was that!

I want to tell everyone about my song that my parents made up for me. It goes like this…

“Squirmy wormy, squirmy wormy Alex. Wormy squirmy, squirmy wormy Alex!” It is titled as the Alex Song, and it makes me smile! Boy are my parents goofy!

Yeah Friday! I love Friday’s. Let me tell you why. That means I get to spend all weekend with my parents…Mommy and Daddy. But that doesn’t come until after Friday is almost over. Mommy took me over to Grandma CC’s in the early morning, and she and I hung out. I layed on the floor with Rugby…Grandma didn’t tell my Mommy until later since he is so HUGE! I like him lots…he is kinda like a giant, white, fluffy bear…but he moves on his own and makes lots of noise!

My Mommy came and got me from the office, where Mrs. Wick broke the news to Mommy that “I am a distraction” Personally, I think I am cute and and HUGE distraction, but so what? I like my office friends Kim, Barb, and Breanna. There is even a new friend named Ashley. (She hasn’t held me yet…I guess the ladies don’t want to share me – who can blame them!)

For dinner, Mommy, Daddy, Grandma CC, Uncle Jimmy, and I all went out to eat at Perkin’s. I hear that was my Great Grandma Evelyn’s favorite place to go in Madison. I haven’t been to Madison yet, but I am looking forward to going and seeing Bucky’s home!
