I am so very excited that it is Friday. That means the weekend is almost here and I get two whole days with my Mommy and Daddy! Yeah for Alex. This morning when Mommy dropped me off at Grandma CC’s, my Auntie Shyster wasn’t there! I wonder where she went? Didn’t she know I was coming over to play with her? Well, Auntie Barbie came to the house, and since Grandma CC had to run to the office, I just stayed at the house and played with her.

Mommy came home from work to pick me up. I had just come back from a walk! That was lots of fun! Anyways, Mommy noticed that I was wearing something different than what Daddy had put me in to wear this morning. Auntie Barbie told Mommy that this was my third outfit of the day! I think that might be a record. The first one someone (don’t know who…but Grandma CC said that it was the Vickster) and the second one well let’s just say got all wet, and well I am wearing the thrid one now!

Mommy picked me up, and we met Grandma CC at the hair place. She needed her purse to pay them or they weren’t going to let her leave, and I couldn’t let that happen now. Then the three of us went to the Spot so Grandma CC could get a hot dog (but she changed her mind and got a hamburger and fries…oh well) After we got back to Grandma’s house, Mommy and I played waiting to hear back from Daddy (he was at my new house cutting the HUGE lawn) After a while, we all decided to go out to diner, so Mommy, Grandma CC, Auntie Barbie, Daddy, and Auntie Shyster all went out to diner at a nice place, where again I heard over and over how cute I am! I don’t ever tire of hearing those words!

Mommy and Daddy took me home, and I ate a little more, and then went right to sleep.

So I got up this morning, got changed, was fed, got dressed, and then I went to Grandma CC’s to play with Grandma CC and Auntie Shyster. Mommy picked me up from Grandma CC’s, and then Mommy, Auntie Shyster and I went the video store (I really am not sure why they did that…I have DVD’s that we can watch at home…can anyone say Baby Einstein?) Anyways, Grandma CC called, and there was an urgent need for some things at the office, so the three of us went to Office Max (where I was told many times that I was cute) and then to my office. As we were leaving, Mommy passed Daddy in the car (He was on his way to the office to fix the doppler, while we were on our way home) Daddy came home, and Mommy and I went outside with him and we hung out with our neighbors. I met some new friends, and a potential babysitter. She was very nice. We’ll see about that. It was starting to get very windy out, and the sky was looking dark, so Mommy and Daddy took me back inside, fed me, and just as I was about to go to sleep, Auntie Shyster came back over (she brought ice cream for my parent’s) and they finished a movie. It must have been funny, because Mommy was doing a log of laughing (National Lampoon’s – Vacation?) I don’t know, but Mommy says I can see it when I am much older.

This is getting old. I thought I made it clear how much I hate Monday’s? Why hasn’t anyone done anything about it? I wonder who I can complain too about this…I know my Mommy is too busy right now to fix it, maybe my lazy Daddy could do something about it? I would ask Gizmo Cat to help me out, but he is always sleeping! and I am not too sure how Panda Cat feels about me, so I guess I will just let it go for now.

Mommy dropped me off at Grandma CC’s in the morning, and I played with Grandma CC and Auntie Sparky all morning. Then Grandma CC had to go to work, but I still had my Auntie Shyster to play with.

Auntie Sparky (or Shyster…either one works for me) brought me to my house, where my Mommy was waiting for me. I don’t like to sleep much during they day, and in fact, I only napped very little today. I wore my Auntie out, so she took a nap on the couch for a bit…actually it was more like 3 hours! I too took a nap with my Mommy. Mommy held me, and I slept…for around 2 hours. Then we had to go to Mommy’s dentist appointment. I waited with my Auntie Shyster for Mommy to get done. I had lots of fun, and when Mommy was done, the three of use went to go see my Great Grandpa Boomer. He is funny. He wants to hold me and he likes to talk to me. He said “Hey Buddy” to me today and I smiled for him. Mommy and Auntie Shyster say that Great Grandpa Boomer and I have a lot in common right now. We both don’t have teeth (well he has some and I am getting mine in…slowly and painfully), and we both don’t have much hair, and we both have little pot bellies, and we both have no ass! He He He!

After we left Great Grandpa Boomer’s place, we picked up Grandma CC and we met Daddy at a place called Renzo’s for diner. It was fun, until the end when I got a little cranky. Mommy gave me a little Tylenol and I was fine (Daddy says I am exhibiting drug seeking behavior) Mommy says that it is ok if I hurt to get some relief! Take that Daddy! I went home to have some cereal and then I went to sleep. Mommy put on a cd for me called “Baby Needs Mozart”. I like it, but I think there should be one called Alex needs Vivaldi!

I spent all day with my Auntie Shyster again. I got to have lunch with Mommy and all her co-workers and Auntie Shyster. That was fun. We all went to Infusion’s. Then my Auntie and I went to Racine, she had to go shopping for a few things, and by the time we got back to K-town, Mommy was back home waiting for me! Yeah!

Daddy came home from work and PT with stuff to make tacos. He cooked diner, and Mommy and Daddy ate diner while I played on the floor. I like to roll over lots now, and I am am good at it too. I am trying real hard to move, but I don’t seem to get too far…it will happen soon I hope! I want to see what is going on and be a part of it too!

So I am officially confused. I know it is Wednesday, but I don’t know why I am Grandma CC’s and not at home with my Daddy? And I wasn’t the only one confused. When Mommy and I got to Grandma CC’s, everyone was still asleep…even thought Mommy had talked with Auntie Shyster just last night. So Mommy and I went into Grandma CC’s bedroom to wake her up! Boy was she surprised. It was funny! She got right up to play with me and that was nice. When Grandma CC left to go to work, I had my Auntie Shyster to play with. Mommy had a teacher workday, so she was able to get home to me right away after school was done. We played together for a while and waited for Daddy to come home. Auntie Shyster stayed with us too, and the three of us had fun together.

Daddy came home, and then we all went the parade meeting, Mommy, Daddy, Grandma CC, Auntie Shyster, and me! I went it a Cubs outfit again, but I didn’t play Thunder Pants 🙁 I did met a friend, Zack, but he was much bigger than me. Something to look forward to! (Mommy says I have lots of time to grow up)

After the parade meeting, Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Shyster, and i went shopping for new sheets. Mommy and Daddy got new sheets for their bed (I didn’t get any new sheets for my bed) and Auntie Shyster got sheets and she found some sheets for Grandma CC too.

I fell asleep in the way home, and that was it for me, I was out for the count!

I spent the morning (and afternoon) at Grandma CC’s but this time with Auntie Shyster. We had fun, playing on the floor (lots of tummy time) and hanging out with the bark barks. Although there is now a new bark bark. This one is named Sassy and she is brown but has a big nose and her tale never stops moving. She likes to lick and is friendly, but can be scary too..,especially when people are outside walking by the house. I wonder why she is that way? The other bark barks (Rugby and Natasha) just make lots of noise and are HUGE, VERY WHITE, AND VERY VERY VERY FLUFFY!

Auntie Shyster brought me back home to my Mommy, and the two of them gave me a bath. That was nice. Daddy came home late again, and I didn’t get to spend too much time with him, before I went to bed. I will have to torture him more tomorrow…that will be Wednesday!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR…do you know what today is? That’s right…ANOTHER MONDAY! When are they going to end? However, this Monday was different. Mommy took me over to Grandma CC’s, but I spent the day with both Grandma CC and Auntie Shyster. I had lots of fun with both of them, and then my Mommy picked me up when she was done with work.

Mommy, Auntie Shyster, Grandma CC and I went to the new house to see daddy play Hank Hill (what ever that means). It was kinda funny, they left daddy to play and we went to Red Robin for dinner. As soon as the food was ready, daddy came walking in. Man that man can smell food from miles away and it is a ggod think my mommy knows him so well. They ate and the we went home and I had cereal and milk from the source. After my diner I played some more and then it was off to bed.

Happy Mommy’s Day Mommy. I was so excited to give Mommy her present. Guess what I got her? A special picture frame that shows lots of pictures of me and plays music too. Daddy said that is is called a digital picture frame and can hold over 100 photos. That is a lot of Alex pictures. Mommy was very happy and excited about her picture frame. I was happy and excited that Mommy was happy and excited.

I got dressed up in nice clothes so that I would look good when I took Mommy out to brunch. (I had to take Daddy too, so I made him drive) First we went to Racine to get a plant for Grandma CC and a gift card for Grandma Niki (I don’t know why my Grandma’s are getting gifts on my Mommy’s day, but I guess technically they are Mommy’s…just not mine) Then we were off to brunch, where we had a great time.

After brunch, we went back home and waited to hear from Grandma CC and Auntie Shyster. The finally called, and Daddy, Mommy, and I all went over to Grandma CC’s to see them. They brought Gino’s East pizza and we had fun. Auntie Shyster wanted to hold me lots, but Grandma CC wanted to hold me too. They were kinda fighting over me, which I didn’t like too much…there is plenty of me to go around!!!

What an exciting week for me, ending with a special day for my Mommy

So Grandma CC left to go to Oklahoma City to meet up with my Auntie Shyster. I am excited to see her soon. In the morning, it was just the three of us (ok five of us) at home…Me, Mommy, Daddy, Panda Cat, and Gizmo Cat just hanging out. In the afternoon, the three of us went to Mona’s house so she and Daddy could work the parade’s website. While we were hanging out there, Mona gave my Mommy the surprise that Grandam CC and I got her…it was professional pictures of me! One said Happy Mothers Day across the top and it was me in my Cubs outfit (with the hat) an the other one was a surprise too. Remember when it was Mommy and Daddy’s anniversary, and they brought me back my Teddy Bear (Dr. Alex Bear)? Well they took of his outfit and put it on me! Boy am i cute! I guess Grandma CC thinks I am medical school material! We’ll see. Mommy was so touched by the pictures, that she and Daddy and I went to the store to get frames for the big ones (we got three frames, one for Mommy, one for Grandma CC, and one for Grandma Niki)

I sure do like seeing myself in pictures too! Maybe I can somehow put those photos on my website too!

Since it was cooler out this morning, Mommy dressed me up in my Cubs spring training outfit (you can see those cute pictures if my lazy Daddy updates my pictures) I even have a matching Cubs baseball cap. That is the coolest part. I like it lots because then the sun can’t get in my eyes. I am excited for a couple of reasons today. First off, Mommy only has to work a 1/2 day! Yeah! Secondly, my Auntie Shyster is coming soon and I get to spend time with her. I have only seen here in very limited amounts, but I hear she is lots of fun and she calls me and talks to me often…ok she really calls to talk to my Mommy…but I understand.

Mommy got done with work, and was on her way to meet me at Grandma CC’s, when she got a message on her phone. Grandma took me with her to do something special for Mommy for her special day. Grandma CC and I met Mommy at my house, and we were off to go to lunch. We went to Andrea’s (Great-Grandma Evelyn’s favorite place) and I was a hit. Everyone loved me. They all said how cute I was, and I obliged them all with smiles! I am so cute.

It was Mommy and me the rest of the afternoon. Mommy, Grandma CC, and I all went shopping at Target and got lots of stuff for me…diapers, wipes, a new Baby Einstein toy for me to play on…you know the usual, and we met Daddy at teh new house. Then the four of us all went out to diner and we ran into Mona…that was fun.

It was time for bed after that, so I went home and went to sleep.
